The first regular international flight between Sanya, China, and Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, landed in Sanya on Thursday, marking a significant progress in the Chinese city's efforts to tap into new tourism sources and further expand its international market. Since the start of this year, Sanya International Airport, located in south China's Hainan Province, has operated 28 overseas routes, connecting 21 overseas cities, and welcoming about 650,000 international overnight arrivals.
