Italian powerhouse Imoco Volley Conegliano secured a 25-21, 25-15, 25-20 victory over Tianjin Bohai Bank to lift the FIVB Club World Championship trophy without losing a set in Hangzhou, China's Zhejiang Province.

This marked Conegliano's third world title in four appearances at the competition, while Tianjin's runner-up finish represented the best performance by a Chinese team in the history of the event.

Tianjin led midway through the first set but failed to capitalize on its advantage, ultimately losing the set 25-21. In the second set, Tianjin struggled to receive Conegliano's powerful jump serves, quickly falling 25-15. Conegliano maintained its superiority and sealed the victory 25-20 in the third set.

Swedish star Isabelle Haak, the opposite for Conegliano, was named the Most Valuable Player of the tournament. The 25-year-old led a lineup of seven outstanding players who were honored as part of the symbolic "Dream Team" during the awarding ceremony after the final. Both Chinese star spiker Zhu Ting and Tianjin captain Li Yingying, who scored 12 points in the final, were named "Best Outside Hitters".

"No matter which side wins, this final was a fantastic match. I think everyone did a great job. Of course, I'm happy that our Chinese team has improved so much and played an impressive match. Although the result determined the champions, I think everyone is a winner," said Zhu.
