Liu Yuhao, a Chinese language teacher at a middle school in Thailand, introduced the guzheng to his classroom, giving students a hands-on opportunity to experience Chinese culture while learning the language.

"For me, teaching the language and teaching the culture are inseparable," Liu told CGTN on December 19 during this year's "Chinese Language Teaching Idols" event in Beijing, an international teaching skills exchange that brought together Chinese language educators from around the globe. Liu expressed his hope that his students will one day bridge China and Thailand.
