On December 25, an Azerbaijan Airlines flight crashed in the Kazakhstani city of Aktau. According to Russian news agencies, the plane had been rerouted due to heavy fog in Grozny, and the crash was reportedly caused by a collision with a flock of birds.
The aircraft had 67 people on board, including 62 passengers and 5 crew members. Among them, 29 individuals have been hospitalized with serious injuries.
