In a previous interview with CGTN host Wang Guan, former Slovenian President Danilo Türk emphasizes the need for deeper dialogue between the EU and China. Reflecting on a key moment in 2024 – when the European Commission decided to impose countervailing tariffs on China-made EVs – Türk calls the move counterproductive, arguing it won't benefit either the EU or its partners.
