AZERTAC citing Azerbaijan Ministry of Foreign Affairs: On December 25, the Embraer 190 aircraft of Azerbaijan Airlines, operating flight number J2-8243 from Baku to Grozny, crashed near the city of Aktau due to the need for an emergency landing. The causes of the accident are being investigated.There were a total of 67 people on board, including 62 passengers and 5 crew members. According to preliminary information, 32 people have survived, some of whom are in serious condition.
