Heavy Israeli bombardment lit up the night sky over the Gaza Strip on December 26 and continued till the following morning, with several blasts over the Palestinian territory in just a few hours.

The latest round of the conflict began on October 7, 2023, after a cross-border raid by Hamas led to the deaths of over 1,200 people and the abduction of around 250 others. Subsequent Israeli attacks have killed over 45,000 Palestinian people in Gaza.
