The Arrow Tower of Zhengyangmen reopened on December 26 for a trial operation, presenting itself to the public anew. This heritage site is a part of Beijing's Central Axis, which has been inscribed on UNESCO's World Heritage List. Completed in 1439, the tower of Zhengyangmen is an emblem of Beijing's old city architecture. Towering above the streets, it's the highest scenic point in the Qianmen area.
