China's railway operator has unveiled the CR450, a prototype high-speed train capable of reaching 400 kilometers per hour, making it the world's fastest commercial train. It hit 450 kilometers per hour during testing, setting new international benchmarks in speed, energy efficiency, noise reduction and braking performance. The CR450 improves upon the current CR400 Fuxing trains, which run at 350 kilometers per hour, with enhanced control systems, safety monitoring and intelligent features for passengers and drivers.
