'Sailing into 2025': China Media Group to stage New Year's Eve gala

China Media Group (CMG) is readying to stage its "Sailing into 2025" New Year's Eve gala on December 31, which will be recorded in Tai'an City, east China's Shandong Province.

"The majority of the programs are inspired by the real, vibrant and striving life of the new era," said Xia Yu, chief director of the gala. "There are retrospectives and, more importantly, blessings for the future."

The gala adopts a more youthful and technological approach than in previous years, incorporating high-tech elements, such as drones, robots and virtual reality.

Viewers can tune in to CMG's TV channels and streaming services at 8:00 p.m. (1200 GMT) to join in the countdown to 2025 and embrace the New Year with hope and excitement.

China Media Group has also announced the 2025 Greater Bay Area concert. The musical extravaganza is expected to express the beautiful anticipation for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area voyage in the coming year.

Scheduled to be broadcast at 9:00 p.m. (1300 GMT) on January 1, the 2025 Greater Bay Area concert will surely offer a melodious start to the new year.
