World's longest expressway tunnel drilled through China's Xinjiang

The world's longest expressway tunnel, the Tianshan Shengli Tunnel, has been successfully drilled in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. The tunnel is 22.13 kilometers long. It shortens the previous 3-hour-long trip across the Tianshan Mountains to 20 minutes.
