On March 11, 2011, a magnitude-9 earthquake and tsunami hit Japan, causing a disaster at Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant. A significant amount of radioactive material leaked. CGTN visited the worst-hit area, measured nuclear radiation data and investigated the truth behind the enduring consequences of the accident.
