At the Chinese Table Tennis Super League, Shandong Weiqiao beat Shanghai Estate 3-0 in the men's semi-finals on Tuesday.
The first match was the men's doubles. Liang Jinkun and Lin Yueru of Shandong beat Xu Xin and Zhou Kai of Shanghai 11-8, 14-16, 11-9, 11-9 to grab the first point for Shandong.
The second match was the men's singles, where Paris Olympics men's singles gold medalist Fan Zhendong representing Shanghai met Wang Chuqin. Wang took the first two games 11-9, 11-5. Fan found his form in the third and won it 11-5. But Wang regained control in the fourth while Fan made more mistakes to win it 11-3 for a 3-1 victory that put Shandong ahead 2-0.
Liang Jinkun of Shandong then met Zhou Kai in the third match. Liang dominated the first game 11-3, but Zhou grabbed the second 11-4. Liang brushed it off to win the next two games 11-8, 11-5.
Shandong Weiqiao beat Shanghai Estate 3-0 and will meet Hubei Yellowstone in the final.
