At least 10 people were killed and 30 others injured after a vehicle drove into a large crowd on Canal and Bourbon Street in the southern U.S. city of New Orleans on Wednesday, city authorities said. 

"There are 30 injured patients that have been transported by New Orleans Emergency Medical Services and 10 fatalities ... Public safety partners are responding on scene," NOLA Ready, the city's emergency preparedness campaign, said in a statement.
