China's domestically developed passenger aircraft the C919 has started flying on a new commercial route, linking Shanghai with Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. On Wednesday morning, flight MU721, operated by China Eastern, departed from Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport, with 157 passengers on board. To ensure smooth border inspection and clearance, Shanghai immigration authorities have implemented a specialized clearance plan.
