Second season of CMG's culinary series opens with a Xinjiang feast

The second season of "Three Meals, Four Seasons" premiered on China Media Group's CCTV-1 channel on December 29, inviting viewers to embark on a journey through the culinary and cultural wonders of China.

The first episode showcased the enchanting northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, from the snow-capped Tianshan Mountains to the vibrant and historic Kashgar Old Town, offering a visual and gastronomic feast.

Co-produced by China Media Group and the Ministry of Commerce, the program highlights Chinese cuisine as a gateway to exploring cultural heritage. Each episode features TV hosts and prominent figures from various fields forming a "flavor-seeking team" to visit two cities in a selected province. Together, they delve into the deeply rooted memories, traditions, and sense of belonging hidden in people's three meals in four seasons.
