Two earthquakes jolt northwest China's Ningxia

Two earthquakes above magnitude 4.0 jolted Yinchuan, the capital of northwest China's Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, on Thursday, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).

A magnitude-4.8 earthquake first struck Yongning County in Yinchuan at 10:01 a.m. (Beijing Time), followed by a magnitude-4.6 quake at 4:43 p.m., according to the CENC.
