With five themed zones showcasing over 100 dazzling lantern displays, the lantern festival at a park in Yinchuan, northwest China's Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, is drawing increasing crowds in 2025, the Year of the Snake in the Chinese zodiac.
The lantern festival blends tradition with technology, illuminating the nights with visions of the past and future. Complementing the lantern displays are a variety of daytime and evening activities, including an ethnic music festival, food fair, cosplay expo and carnival, creating a dynamic mix of reality and virtual experiences, entertainment and learning.
Spanning a 2.5-kilometer route with an estimated tour time of three hours, the festival runs until February 16, 2025.
