The China State Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC) has delivered a 114,000-tonne oil tanker to a Greek shipping company, marking the first new vessel delivery of 2025 from Chinese shipyards. The new ship, Seascout, belongs to the latest generation of the refined oil tankers independently designed and developed by China, capable of transporting 114,000 tonnes of refined oil. Chinese shipyards are set to deliver a range of large vessels in 2025, including car carriers, container ships and LNG carriers. The new vessel has been well-received in the market, with over 20 orders already on hand for this model.
