A fire broke out at a market in Zhangjiakou City, north China's Hebei Province, on Saturday, killing eight people and injuring 15, according to local authorities.
The fire at the marketplace, where vegetables and other daily goods are sold, has subsequently been extinguished. Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the fire.
