The Baoji Bronze Ware Museum in northwest China's Shaanxi Province has launched the soft opening of its upgraded bronze exhibition. The revamped exhibition offers a multifaceted exploration of bronze culture and highlights the rich history of Baoji, known as the "Hometown of Bronze" in China.
Featuring more than 1,000 carefully selected artifacts, the exhibition combines physical relics, site models, diagrams, sculptures, photographs, and multimedia presentations. It vividly illustrates the rise and prosperity of the Zhou and Qin dynasties lasting from the 11th to the 3rd century B.C. in Baoji and celebrates the brilliance of ancient bronze culture.
The museum boasts a vast collection of over 487,000 relics and is renowned for its extensive and diverse range of artifacts, especially its world-famous Shang and Zhou dynasty bronzes.
