After discovering that the title of "Bimawen," Keeper of the Heavenly Horses, is considered a low-ranking position, an infuriated Sun Wukong returns to the Flower Fruit Mountain and proclaims himself "The Great Sage, Equal to Heaven." In response, the Jade Emperor sends Li Jing, the Pagoda-Bearing Heavenly King, and his son, Nezha, to subdue him, igniting a fierce and dramatic battle.
