A powerful earthquake jolted Dingri County in southwest China's Xizang Autonomous Region on Tuesday morning, killing at least 95 people and injuring 130 others. As of 5:40 p.m., 19 injured people were transferred from Dingri County and Lhatse County to Xigaze People's Hospital, where they are currently receiving treatment.
The hospital instantly dispatched two groups of medical teams to carry out medical relief work in the quake-hit areas of Dingri County and Lhatse County. The hospital has vacated 90 beds and freed up the ICU and emergency room to carry out medical treatment.
