A magnitude-6.8 earthquake hit southwest China's Xizang Autonomous Region at a depth of 10 kilometers on Tuesday, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).
The quake, which hit Tingri County in Xigaze City, occurred at 9:05 a.m., according to the CENC.
