Over 400 people rescued from rubble after M6.8 quake in Xizang

Rescue and relief efforts are underway after a magnitude-6.8 earthquake jolted Dingri County in southwest China's Xizang Autonomous Region on Tuesday morning. The quake hit at 09:05 with the epicenter in Tsogo Township of Dingri County, administered by the city of Xigaze. A preliminary investigation showed the earthquake has resulted in at least 126 dead and 188 injured. To date, 407 people have been rescued from being trapped.
