As a treasure of traditional ethnic culture, Zhuang brocade is one of the most famous fabrics in China. Using cotton and silk, the people ofthe Zhuang ethnic group weave their worship of heaven and earth and their aspirations for a good life into their colorful brocades, full of lively patterns and rigorous designs. Born in Guangxi's Xincheng County, a birthplace of Zhuang brocade, Liang Hengyuan has been learning how to weave Zhuang brocade since the age of 18 and has now become an inheritor of Zhuang brocade techniques, a national intangible cultural heritage.
