At least 126 people haved been confirmed dead and 188 others injured as of Tuesday night after a magnitude-6.8 earthquake jolted Dingri County in the city of Xigaze in, southwest China's Xizang Autonomous Region at 9:05 a.m. on Tuesday.
Lyu Yuhong, a driver for the China Railway Design Group Co., Ltd. working group in Lhasa, was a witness toed the January 7 earthquake. In this video, he recalls the moment the earthquake struck and shares his volunteering story. "The situation at the earthquake site is dire. Fortunately, there were no casualties in the village we went to," he recalls.
