The Colombian Ministry of Foreign Affairs was informed yesterday by the Government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, through the appropriate diplomatic channels, that unilaterally and for internal reasons, they will close the border with Colombia and its airspace for 72 hours starting at 5:00 am today, January 10, 2025. The Colombian Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterates that the borders with Venezuela (on the Colombian side) will remain open.
