A snake-themed Spring Festival lantern show opened in Shanghai on Friday. Unlike traditional lantern shows, this one blends Chinese cultural traditions with global influences. Inspired by snake legends from various ancient civilizations, the festival features over 100 snake-themed images from around the world, celebrating the arrival of the Year of the Snake in China.
