The Zhejiang Golden Bulls beat the Beijing Ducks 106-92 in Shaoxing, east China's Zhejiang Province, on Saturday, getting the revenge for last week's loss and securing their second straight win in the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA).

Both teams struggled with injuries and lacked a series of key players, including Zhou Qi and Chen Ying-Chun of Beijing as well as Wu Qian and Cheng Shuaipeng of Zhejiang.

Home guard Gabe York was unstoppable from the beginning. He, Damian Jones and Lu Wenbo joined hands for Zhejiang to outscore the visitors 32-16 with less than two minutes left in the first quarter. Fan Ziming and Eugene German stopped the bleeding for Beijing and cut the deficit to nine points at 32-23.

Zhejiang managed to keep an advantage of around 10 points for four minutes, but then fell into a scoring drought during which Beijing drove a 10-0 run to tie the score 44-44. Richard Solomon and Nuni Omot continued to score for Beijing to lead, but only for a short period before Wang Yibo and York launched a 6-0 run and put Zhejiang back to lead 55-50 before the halftime break.

As Zhejiang continued to see offensive contributions from more and more players in the second half, Beijing started to feel worn-out at both ends. Having been outscored 29-22 in the third quarter, the visitors trailed by 13 points 84-71. Though Zhai Xiaochuan and Zhang Cairen both drained triples to try to keep the game alive for Beijing, York, Lu and Wang combined to drive another 10-0 run at the end of the battle for Zhejiang to clinch a win and rise to No. 5 in the standings table.
