Chinese authorities have released data that shows the country's total foreign trade increase by 5 percent year on year in yuan terms in 2024. Dr Zhou Mi, a senior research fellow at the Chinese Academy of International Trade and Economic Cooperation, says that China's foreign trade performance aligns with market expectations.
