There are 62 households in total in Ganden Village, Chamco Town, Dingri County, southwest China's Xizang Autonomous Region. Among them, 56 of their homes were destroyed by the earthquake. At the resettlement site in Ganden, 96 prefabricated houses have been built with the aid of the China Railway Group Limited (CREC), which plans to build a total of 1,300 such houses. Within just two days, 300 houses have been completed. The fastest time to assemble one house was 2 minutes and 7 seconds, and the entire project is expected to complete within eight days.
