More than 1,000 aftershocks have been recorded in the wake of the magnitude-6.8 earthquake that struck Dingri county in Southwest China's Xizang Autonomous Region last week. That includes two earthquakes above magnitude three on Sunday. Wang Tun, a leading expert, says there could be more aftershocks over the coming days. He also says there is no statistical data showing earthquakes in China have become more active.
