The Sun and Moon Pagodas, situated in Guilin City, south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, hold a fascinating historical legacy tracing back to the Tang Dynasty (618-907). They serve as the centerpiece of Riyue (Sun and Moon) Shuangta (Twin Pagoda) Cultural Park, which embodies the convergence of Buddhism, Confucianism and Taoism. The Sun Pagoda is recognized as the world's tallest bronze pagoda and boasts the rare feature of an elevator.
