Residents of Ganden Village, Chamco Township in the quake-hit Dingri County, southwest China's Xizang Autonomous Region, have moved into transitional housing and received essential supplies, while efforts are underway to recover valuables buried under the rubble. Three teams from the Xigaze Public Security Bureau's special police unit have recovered highland barley and cleared five collapsed houses, retrieving 814 items and over 98,000 yuan ($13,367) in cash.
