The event featured a variety of activities, including folk performances, displays of intangible cultural heritage crafts, and the distribution of Spring Festival couplets. Dating back to the Shang Dynasty (1600–1046 BC), Maomiaoji runs for some 800 meters and is lined with residential buildings showcasing ancient architectural styles. Its rich historical legacy serves as the perfect backdrop for the festive atmosphere.
