Lanterns combining traditional Chinese cultural elements and modern technology have been set up in Zigong as the city gears up to host its long-running Spring Festival lantern show. The 31st International Dinosaur Lantern Show will officially open to the public on January 17 as part of Spring Festival celebrations. This year's event features over a dozen giant lanterns, large-scale displays and more than 200 smaller lanterns blending traditional cultural elements with modern lighting technology.
