However, the US home insurance industry is falling short in supporting affected families, as many insurance companies have withdrawn coverage due to high compensation risks, and this trend is occurring in high-risk areas across the country. A CBS report warned that it could lead to massive property devaluation and might even trigger a financial crisis reminiscent of 2008, as CGTN's Guan Xin explains.
