In a recent interview with CGTN, two American TikTok users shared their reasons for moving to the Chinese social media application Xiaohongshu or RedNote. They expressed dissatisfaction with the U.S. government's efforts to block TikTok, framing their switch to RedNote as an act of protest. They argued that the U.S. government's actions regarding personal data collection on social media are hypocritical.
