During the winter fishing season at Wolong Lake in Shenyang, the traditional "iron flower" performance takes place in front of an ice castle at the lake's pier. Performers throw molten iron into the air, creating a shower of sparks, much like fireworks. The interplay of ice and fire creates a stunning visual display, attracting many locals and tourists who come to enjoy and capture the spectacle.
