Prelude to the Spring Festival Gala – a special event of China Media Group (CMG) was held in New York, U.S. on Thursday.

Shen Haixiong, vice minister of the Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and president of CMG, delivered a speech via video link.

Nearly 200 guests, including envoys and diplomats from Denmark, Greece, Pakistan, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, Nicaragua, Cuba, Maldives and other countries to the United Nations, as well as people from all walks of life, attended the event.
