In the aftermath of the magnitude-6.8 earthquake in Dingri County, Xizang Autonomous Region, Tsering Samdrup, a reporter with the Xizang Forest Fire Brigade, formed a unique bond with 13-year-old Tenzin Thapa. Inspired by Samdrup's photography during the rescue efforts, Thapa developed a passion for photography. With guidance from Samdrup, the young boy captured his first photos, sharing them online and earning praise from his family.
