Engaging interactive performances – featuring traditional Chinese arts such as paper-cutting, a tea ceremony performed with a long-spouted teapot and a fan dance incorporating Tai Chi movements – recently took place in Beijing's Chaoyang District.

The event warmly invited international friends to participate and immerse themselves in the rich cultural heritage of China ahead of the upcoming Spring Festival, the foremost holiday of Chinese culture.
A local folklore museum staff member elaborated on the Spring Festival traditions in both Chinese and English, fostering deeper cultural understanding and appreciation between people from different backgrounds.
Anna from Poland, who has resided in Beijing with her family for a number of years, was among over 50 people around the world who joined the activity. The group included people from 18 countries including Germany, the UK, Russia and Thailand.
Along with her Chinese husband and their child, Anna enthusiastically participated in various folk culture experience activities. Seeing the vivid dough sculpture of a little green snake in her child's hand, she couldn't help but exclaim with delight, "It's pretty!" Anna said, "I am passionate about traditional Chinese culture and always pay great attention to my child's learning of it. Being able to participate in this event is a fantastic experience for children."
