Young Chinese pair Wei Yaxin and Jiang Zhenbang claimed a straight-games victory to win the mixed doubles title at the Badminton World Federation (BWF) India Open on Sunday.
The second-seeded Jiang and Wei needed just 43 minutes to defeat French shuttlers Thom Gicquel and Delphine Delrue 21-18, 21-17 in the final.
"This championship is a great inspiration for us," said Wei after the match. "We faced a lot of difficulties this week, but we overcame them all."
Women's singles World No. 1 An Se-young of South Korea enjoyed a comfortable win over Thailand's Pornpawee Chochuwong 21-12, 21-9, bagging her second consecutive title following last week's triumph at the Malaysia Open.
The men's singles gold was clinched by two-time Olympic champion Viktor Axelsen of Denmark, who crushed Lee Cheuk-yiu of China's Hong Kong Special Administrative Republic (SAR) 21-16, 21-8.
Arisa Igarashi and Ayako Sakuramoto of Japan won the women's doubles title after defeating Kim Hye-jeong and Kong Hee-yong of South Korea 21-15, 21-13.
And in the men's doubles final, third seeds Goh Sze Fei and Nur Izzuddin of Malaysia overcame South Korean duo Kim Won-ho and Seo Seung-jae 21-15, 13-21, 21-16 to top the podium.
