On the morning of January 7, a magnitude-6.8 earthquake struck a remote county in southwest China's Xizang Autonomous Region. The shockwaves brought down 3,612 houses and claimed 126 lives, making it one of the deadliest quakes in recent years. CGTN sent a dozen reporters and cameramen to the disaster zone.
