The 2025 Harbin Asian Winter Games will officially get underway on February 7, and the staff members at the Athletes' Villages are fine-tuning their preparations, as the participants prepare to arrive.
The main Athletes' Village in Yabuli is located at the Avaunce Hotel. The organizers are placing great importance on the eating and resting needs of the competitors and coaches. That includes setting up an area next to the dining hall for athletes to store baggage and gear, in order to provide more convenience.
The cafeteria will operate for 20 hours per day, providing multiple food options, and can seat up to 450 diners.
The hotel will accommodate more than 500 people, and offers 24-hour room service. Yabuli, which is about 190 kilometers away from the host city of Harbin, will host the snow sports events. The site boasts three Athletes' Villages.
"Of course there are things we still worry about, such as what if our services can't meet their needs? So we continue to detail everything, and improve in all aspects," said Fang Yejun, who is the director of the Athletes' Village at the Avaunce Hotel. "When athletes are here during the Chinese New Year, we hope to improve their experience, and make them feel like they are at home,"
