Expert: Protectionism is key challenge for the global economy in 2025

The World Economic Forum's annual meeting enters its second day in Davos, Switzerland, attracting 60 heads of state and 900 of the world's top CEOs. Chinese Vice Premier Ding Xuexiang is attending. The meeting addresses key global and regional challenges and leverages the potential of emerging technologies such as AI. Zhou Mi, senior research fellow at the Chinese Academy of International Trade and Economic Cooperation, says one of the challenges that face the global economy in 2025 is protectionism.
