Chaotian Temple in Beigang Town is one of the oldest and most famous temples of the sea goddess Mazu on the island of Taiwan. In the 1970s, Tsai Fu-hsiung, who was born and raised beside the temple, began investigating the story of Mazu. His research would eventually bring him to Meizhou Island in Fujian Province. Tune in for the CGTN documentary "The Journey of the Goddess" on February 3 to discover more about how a goddess connects two places across the Taiwan Strait.
