The Lebanon-Israel ceasefire agreement officially came into effect in the early hours of November 27, 2024, temporarily ending nearly 14 months of conflict between Israel and Hezbollah in Lebanon. As the initial 60-day ceasefire period stipulated in the agreement draws to a close, United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNlFlL) spokesperson Andrea Tenenti spoke to CGTN about the current situation.
