China's involvement in the construction of the Haramain High-Speed Railway in Saudi Arabia, aimed at serving public welfare, has overcome differences in language and, more importantly, cultural customs. Through valuing communication, this project, which connects the two holiest cities in the Islamic world, Makkah and Madinah, embodies the Confucian concept of harmony in diversity.
